About the Role:



The SharePoint consultant & developer works with the team to deliver
client projects - making changes, developing customised solutions
including elements like web parts, and enhancing and optimising their
existing SharePoint environments.




They assist Solution Architects in designing, planning, and delivering
new SharePoint solutions, and use their experience in identifying and
fixing business pain points to build quality processes and find
innovative solutions for their clients.





The successful candidate will:



- Understand a client's business needs, challenges and pain points, then come up with innovative solutions to these issues

- Develop, update, document and implement SharePoint solutions

- Troubleshoot SharePoint based issues

- Solve problems at the root cause, and escalate difficult issues in a timely manner

- Communicate with customers, ensuring they always have a clear understanding of issues and their resolutions

- Work within the software dev team and assist others when required to ensure team objectives are met







The people that will really grab our attention will have lots of the below:



- Relevant and current Microsoft certifications

- An understanding of SharePoint and related Microsoft Technologies

- Ideally a working knowledge of SQL

- Sound experience in Web Based technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript)

- Prior experience working in the IT consultancy industry is a plus

- Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication

- An understanding of ASP.NET and C# fundamentals and be competent at developing in these languages.
 
- IT related tertiary education
