Accordingly, we're looking for an action-oriented Helpdesk Support Technician with a natural aptitude to great customer service to join our team and maintain the award-winning level of support to new and existing customers that we're known for.

About the role

As a Helpesk Support Technician, you'll be responsible for providing desktop and server support to clients.

You'll work closely with the Service delivery manager and service dispatcher, taking care of urgent client requests and working across multiple customers, platforms and technology.

You'll work closely with management, service teams, and customers to maintain high satisfaction levels solutions and sustain Comcity's service leadership position in the industry.

You'll have excellent communication skills, ensuring your customers always have a clear understanding of technical problems and their resolutions. You'll use best practices, document regularly, follow company procedures and processes and work within your team to ensure long term customer satisfaction.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to establish relationships with customers in a service role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience in supporting windows desktop based systems
  • Experience working in an outsourced IT services environment
  • Experience working with products from vendors such as Lenovo, IBM, HP, Watchguard, Sonicwall, VMWare, Citrix, Symantec and McAfee.

Bonus points for:

  • Microsoft Certified
  • At least 2 years network troubleshooting experience
  • At least 2 years desktop hardware and software support experience
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems to the root cause
